Greetings Fellow Alumni and Friends!,

As we close in on the end of another year, we are all still learning to adapt to a new way of doing things, bearing in mind that life is all an ebb and flow. While some have suffered hardship, others have forged ahead, venturing into new and exciting life paths. I am so proud of our community, especially the dynamic adaptability of our Board Members; somehow, they transformed our traditional ways of doing things in such a short period while maintaining the integrity of the Association during a tough medical and economic climate—all in service to our Alma Mater.

Today September 7, 2022 marks the one hundred and third anniversary of the birth of the Hon. Louise Bennett-Coverley, “Miss Lou”, among the most consequential Excelsiorians and Jamaica’s enduring cultural icon. We join with the rest of Jamaica and the world in celebrating the anniversary of the birth of this cultural ambassador.
